Did you say kids go to camp for free?

Yep! You read that right!

Each summer the Cambridge United Methodist Church sends kids to camp! The church pays for our kids to go to camp each summer, with a little help from them of course. The kids are asked to participate in a couple fundraisers, including working at the food stand for a few hours during Cambridge Fireman's days (Always the Second Weekend in June!)

Church camp is a great place for kids to learn, grow, and bond with one another and God. The UMC camp nearest us is Wesley Woods Camp and Retreat center. We cannot say enough good things about this place! Check out their website here!

Our awesome program organizer is Deb Russell, if you have any questions you can send her an email at.....

Why Camp?

Camp Wesley Woods offered me so many new experiences in the time I spent there as Jr. Staff and Summer Staff. Camp pushes you to the edge of your comfort zone and teaches you to be a better person than you were the day before. The skills I learned at Wesley Woods have helped to shape me into the person I am today. Summer Camp is something every kid, teen, or adult need to experience at least once in their life!
